Superfood Saturday-Chocolate Almond Butter Breakfast Smoothie

Today's recipe is really easy and really quick.  The weather here in Milwaukee is 64 F so I am enjoying being outside.  So you will not have to spend much time in the kitchen either to have one of these for breakfast.  This is a variation of a recipe from the Dr. Axe  book "The Real Food Cookbook".

I served it up in the glass I got for participating in the Winter Triathlon National Championship this year in St. Paul.

1 1/2 cups coconut milk
1 scoop protein powder
1 tablespoon maca powder
2 tablespoons coco powder
1 frozen banana
1/3 cup almond butter

Mix it all in a blender and add a little stevia if you would like it easier.  Serves 1

Super Foods featured: Coconut milk, maca powder, almond butter
